Azrioth, Aiden, and Arek
Kaela Aiden and her friend Arek run a detective agency in the city of Azrioth which is full of vampires, werewolves, and crime.
The Triad, which is made up of one human, one vampire and one werewolf, controls most of the illegal business in the city. The Council is made up of three humans, three vampires, and three werewolves and the Council takes orders from the Triad. All business owners, whether legal or illegal, have some arrangement with the Council or the Triad.
Azrioth has a city guard force that keeps what peace it can. Everyone knows that a peaceful city is always good for business.
Aiden and Arek usually find themselves in the very center of things gone wrong, but they're smart and tough. They've been staying alive for a while and they've become good at it, no matter who doesn't like it.
